    Meat - Veal Meatballs with Tomato Sauce

    List of Ingredients

    3/4 lb. ground veal
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    2 tsp. crushed garlic
    1/4 c. finely chopped sweet red pepper
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 tbsp. ketchup or chili sauce
    2 tsp. dried basil or 2 tbsp. freshly chopped
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 3/4 c. tomato sauce, (14oz.)

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 450.
    Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
    Use a large bowl to mix the veal, onion, garlic, red
    pepper, egg, cheese, bread crumbs, chili sauce, basil
    and chili powder until well combined.
    Roll into 1 inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
    Bake for 10 minutes or until no longer pink inside.
    Place in serving dish and pour tomato sauce over top.
    Makes 4 servings.
