    2 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
    1 lb shrimp, precooked, peeled + deveined
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tbsp. cornstarch
    24 crackers or slices of small tea breads

    Recipe



    Combine the garlic, onion and ginger in a blender or food processor until finely minced.
    Add the shrimp, sugar, salt, pepper and cornstarch. Continue to process until finely chopped but not pureed.
    Heat in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir and heat 1 more minute.
    Spread about 1 tbsp. of mixture evenly over each cracker/slice of bread or use as a dip.
