    List of Ingredients

    Quick + Easy Flap Jack

    150g rolled oats)
Pinch of salt) in mixing bowl

    In a pan:
    75g Butter
    100g Brown Sugar
1 desert spoon treacle or syrup

Gently heat contents of pan to melt butter. Make sure that the
ingredients do not separate, stir well. When melted (it looks a bit
like hot fudge sauce) pour into a well made in the rolled oats and mix
    thoroughly.

Place contents into an 8"x 8" greased baking tin and press down
lightly with a plastic spoon (does not stick) until mixture is even in
    the tin.

Bake for 20 minutes at 180-190 deg C until set and golden brown (for a
crisper version bake it a couple of minutes longer but keep your eye
on it!). Remove tin from oven and with a knife cut the flap jack into
fingers and allow to cool for 5 minutes in the baking tin. Then turn
out onto wire tray to cool completely.
