    Ham Noodle Soup

    1 pound ham, cooked
    1/2 of 8 ounce package bow tie pasta
    salad oil
    6 chicken bouillon cubes
    1, 10 ounce package frozen French style green beans

    About 45 minutes before serving:
    Prepare noodles; drain well.
    Blot excess moisture with paper towel.
    In electric skillet, heat 1 inch oil to 370 degrees.
    Fry cooked noodles until browned, about 5 minutes.
    Drain well on paper towels.
    In kettle over high heat, heat to boiling 6 cups water,
    ham, bouillon, green beans, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat to medium; simmer 5 minutes until green
    beans are tender.
    Add fried noodles.
    Serve immediately to retain noodle crispness.

    NOTE:
    If no electric skillet, us large skillet, medium high heat,
    heat oil to 370 degrees on meat thermometer.
