    Zesty Steak

    1 round steak, about 1/2 inch thick
    flour
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup water
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 Tablespoon dried parsely flakes
    1 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce
    1 Tablespoon hot sauce
    1, small can sliced mushrooms, drained, optional


    Cut steak into serving size pieces.
    Flour and brown in a skillet using the butter.
    When brown on both sides, place in an electric skillet.
    using water, rinse out skillet used for browning meat
    and pour over meat.
    Place onion on top of the meat.
    Sprinkle with parsley. Worcestershire and hot sauce.
    Turn electric skillet to 300 degrees and cook for 2 to 3
    hours until meat is tender.
    30 minutes before serving, add a can of mushrooms.
    Periodically add water to meat to keep it from drying out.
    This will also give you some gravy when meat is cooked.
