    Fruit + Pasta Salad

    1/4 pound di pepe pasta, cooked al dente to
    ...package directions, drained
    1 small can pineapple chunks, drained, juice reserved
    1 small can mandarin oranges, drained, juice reserved

    In saucepan combine:
    juice from fruit
    3/4 cup white granulated sugar
    2 tablespoons flour
    2 beaten eggs
    dash salt

    Cook until thick, (over low to medium heat), stirring constantly.
    Pour over macaroni and refrigerate over night.
    Next day, add fruit and
    1, 8 ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed.
