    Marshmallow Ice Cream

    for 4 quarts:
    80 large marshmallows
    4 cups milk
    4 Tablespoons vanilla
    2 pints whipping cream

    for 6 quarts:
    120 large marshmallows
    6 cups milk
    4 Tablespoons vanilla
    3 pints whipping cream

    Place marshmallows and milk in a heatproof bowl.
    Heat until melted.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Let cool.
    When thoroughly cool and it is beginning to thicken,
    fold in whipped cream until thick but not stiff.
    Pour into an ice cream maker and follow the instructions
    given by the manufacturer.
