This is a sweet, cake like corn bread that is delicious
with butter or jelly, both, or honey butter.

2 cups biscuit baking mix
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup sugar
1 level tablespoon baking powder

Stir all the ingredients together. Pour into a
wide mouth canning jar. Seal and decorate jar.

Corn Bread
You will need:
1 jar mix
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter

Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place the mix
in a large mixing bowl and add the eggs, milk
and butter. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
Pour into a greased 8 inch baking pan. Bake for
30 minutes. Serves 4 - 6.
