    Crispy Cinnamon Treats (48)

    1 cup butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 egg separated
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1 tespoon ground cinnamon
    1 cup chopped walnuts, optional

    Heat oven to 275 degrees F.
    Grease a jelly roll pan.
    Cream butter and brown sugar.
    Add egg yolk and vanilla.
    Stir in flour, cinnamon and nuts.
    Spread mixture into jelly roll pan.
    Brush with unbeaten egg white.
    Bake for 1 hour.
    Cut while warm.
    Makes 48.
