    List of Ingredients

    LowCarb - Baked Custard

    2 eggs
    1 tbsp. Splenda sugar substitute or to taste
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon

    Beat the eggs in a small serving dish until light yellow in color.
    Mix in the sugar substitute and heavy cream and blend well.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
    Cook in the microwave on 50% power for about 6 - 7 minutes.
    A knife should come out clean when inserted near center of custard.
    Serve chilled, with sliced strawberries or cantaloupe on the side, if desired.
    Makes 1 serving.

    *Variation:
    Stir 2 tbsp. sugar free maple syrup into eggs before adding cream.

    About 5.1 grams carbohydrates per serving.
