    LowFat - Caramel Apple Cobbler

    List of Ingredients

    Caramel Apple Cobbler

    2 1/4 c. apple slices
    2 tbsp. apple juice
    1/2 c. fat free caramel topping
    1 tbsp. lemon juice
    2/3 c. unbleached flour
    1/4 c. Splenda brown sugar substitute
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    light frozen whipped topping, thawed

    Combine the apple juice and caramel topping in a microwave safe bowl.
    Cook, uncovered, on high for 2 minutes, stirring twice during cooking.
    Add the apples and the lemon juice, stirring until all the slices are coated.
    Set aside.
    Combine together the flour, sugar substitute and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
    Sprinkle over the apple mixture.
    Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH for 7 minutes or until heated through.
    Sprinkle the apple mixture with additional cinnamon, if desired.
    Chill for 1 hour.
    Top with whipped topping just before serving.
    Makes 8 servings.
