    List of Ingredients




    for the batter:
    1 3/4 cups flour
    1/4 cup white granulated sugar
    3 teaspoons baking powder
    1/3 cup cold butter
    1 egg
    1 cup milk
    16 coarsely chopped cream filled sandwich cookies

    for the topping:
    3 tablespoons flour
    3 tablespoons white granulated sugar
    5 finely crushed cream filled sandwich cookies
    2 tablespoons cold butter

    for the drizzling sauce:
    1 cup vanilla chips
    1 tablespoon shortening

    Recipe



    for the batter:
    Preheat oven to 400.
    Grease or use cooking spray on the muffin pan.
    In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Beat egg and milk together.
    Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
    Gently fold in the cookies.
    Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.

    for the topping:
    Combine the flour, sugar and cookies together.
    Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
    Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon over each muffin.
    Bake for 16 - 18 minutes or until muffins test done.
    Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then place on a wire rack.

    for the drizzling sauce:
    In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt the vanilla chips
    and shortening until smooth.
    Drizzle over the cooled muffins.
