This sounds more complicated than it actually is. It goes together pretty quickly and easily.

    Chicken Asperagus Lasagna

9 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente to package
    ...directions, drained
    2 pounds fresh asparagus
    1 Tablespoon Olive oil
    1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper salt
    6 Tablespoons butter
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2, 14 ounce cans chicken broth
    1 cup milk
    1 teaspoon dried marjoram
    2 cups diced cooked chicken
1/2 cup chopped roasted red bell peppers
    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    3 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9x2 inch
    baking dish.
Heat 4 cups water to boiling. Break off tough ends of
asparagus, then cut into 1 inch lengths. Place into boiling
water and cook 3-4 minutes. Drain. Place asparagus in
bowl with oil and lemon pepper salt. Mix until coated.
Melt butter in 2 quart saucepan. Stir in flour. Cook
    until bubbly, stirring constantly.
Stirring constantly, stir in broth, milk and marjoram and
    heat to boiling.
Stir in chicken, peppers and 3/4 cup of the Parmesan.
    Cook until heated through.
Spread about 3/4 cup of sauce mixture in bottom of
    baking dish.
Top with 3 lasagna noodles, 1 3/4 cup of the chicken
mixture, 1/2 the asparagus and 1/2 the Mozzarella.
    Repeat layers.
Top with last 3 noodles, remaining chicken mixture, and
the 1/4 cup of Parmesan. Bake, uncovered, for 40 to 45
minutes or until heated through and bubbling around the
edges. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
    Makes 8 large servings.

Excellent served with a Caesar salad and hot crusty french rolls.
