    List of Ingredients




    Apple Pockets

    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon butter (melted)
    2 baking apples, peeled,cored,and sliced thin
    1 sheet frozen puff pastry
    1 beaten egg


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    2. Defrost puff pastry sheet.
    3. Cover the sheet with plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out.
    4. Mix cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
    5. Add apples and stir to coat with sugar and spice mixture.
    6. Cut pastry into 8 squares.
    7. Place apples in 4 of pastry squares.
    8. Dot apples with melted butter.
    9. Place remaining pastry squares on top of apples and press edges together to seal with a fork.
    10. May use water to seal edges.
    11. Brush top of pastry with beaten eggs with a pastry brush.
    12. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 4 servings.
