    German Pizza, no crust/in pan

    1 pound chip sliced beef
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 sweet green bell pepper, diced
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided
    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    2 Tablespoons Butter
    6 medium Potatoes (about 2 1/4 pounds),
    ...peeled and finely shredded, optional
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/3 cup milk
    2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese, (8 ounces)

    1. In a 12 inch stove top or electric skillet over medium heat, brown beef
    and chop into small pieces while cooking.
    Add onion, green pepper, 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper and saute.
    2. Remove meat mixture from skillet and drain fat.
    3. Reduce heat to low.
    If using potatoes:
    4. Melt butter in skillet
    5. Spread potatoes over butter and sprinkle with remaining 1 teaspoon
    salt.
    6. Top with beef mixture.
    7. Combine eggs and milk; pour over all.
    8. Cook, covered, until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
    9. Top with cheese; cover and heat until cheese is melted, about 5
    minutes.
    10. Cut into wedges or squares to serve.
    Yield 4-6 servings.
