Pork Chops, w/bacon + sauerkraut
1/2 pound bacon
1 medium can sauerkraut
2 cups applesauce (unsweetened)
1 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup dry white wine
6 pork chops
1/4 teaspoon ground paprika
pepper
Cut bacon in small pieces.
Fry until crisp, drain and set aside.
Brown pork chops in bacon grease.
Mix applesauce, sauerkraut, brown sugar, mustard and wine together.
Pour into casserole.
Place pork chops on top.
Sprinkle with paprika and fresh ground pepper.
Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
Serve with mashed potatoes.
