    4 pork chops, 1" thick
    1 packet onion soup mix
    1 16oz. can sliced peaches, drained, syrup reserved
    2/3 c. water
    2 tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

    Recipe



    Brown pork chops in a large skillet, on both sides. Drain excess fat.
    Combine peach syrup, water, lemon juice, ginger and cinnamon in a small bowl and pour over pork chops. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
    Add peach slices, cover and simmer an additional 5 minutes.
    Serve with a slice of peach or so, on each chop.
    Good with rice and a tossed salad or green vegetable.
    Makes 4 servings.
