Pork chops are marinated, then coated and baked.

    baked - Teriyaki Pork Chops

    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/2 cup water
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 clove garlic, minced
6 to 8 pork chops, about 1 inch thick
1 envelope pork seasoned coating mix

Combine soy sauce, water, sugar, ginger and garlic in
a large food storage bag. Add pork chops. Seal and
turn from side to side to coat chops. Place in
refrigerator and marinate for 1 hour, turning several
    times to coat pork.
Empty pork flavored coating mix into it's shaker bag.
Remove chops from marinade. Shake pork chops, 2 at
a time, in the bag until evenly coated.
Place pork chops in a single layer on a rack or crumpled
foil in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 425 degrees F.
for 40 to 45 minutes, until pork cops are done.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
