List of Ingredients




1 c. butter or fat
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped raisins or dates
1 c. chopped hickory nuts or walnuts

Recipe



Cream butter and sugar and add eggs. Mix the rest of the dry
ingredients, and sprinkle over the raisins and nuts meats.
Combine the mixtures, adding only enough milk to make a stiff
dough. Drop on a buttered tin an inch apart. Bake in a moderately
hot oven, 350 degrees.
