    List of Ingredients




    One Pound, Pound Cake

    1 pound butter
    1 pound sugar
    1 pound flour
    1/2 teaspoon mace
    10 whole eggs (seperated)
    2 tablespoons brandy

    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, beat until thick and lemon colored.
    In seperate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
    Add egg whites, mace, flour, and brandy to egg yolk/sugar mixture.
    Beat vigorously for 5 minutes.
    Bake in deep pan at 350 degrees for 75 minutes, or until cake tester
    comes out clean.
    24 servings, 1 cake
