    Roaster Oven - Cheddar Baked Hash Browns

    3 tablespoons butter, melted
    1 bag (2 lbs.) frozen hash browns, totally thawed
    8 oz. grated cheddar cheese (2 cups)
    1 cup sour cream
    1 cup plain yogurt
    1 can (10&3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
    1 small onion, chopped

    Recipe



    1. Pour melted butter into 2-quart casserole dish. Tilt dish to coat bottom
    and sides.
    2. Combine remaining ingredients and pour into casserole dish. Bake at 350°F
    for 45 minutes.
    Yield: 8-10 servings.
    Note: Thaw frozen hash browns in the bag in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours
    or overnight. If pressed for time, thaw potatoes in the bag at room
    temperature for 1-2 hours, lightly squeezing bag occasionally to break up
    frozen areas.
    Substitution:
    Instead of mushroom soup, the same size can of cream of potato soup may be
    used.
