    Anchovy Sauce

    2 Tablespoons butter
    3 Tablespoons olive oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1, 2 ounce can Anchovy fillets
    2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    1 teaspoon chopped sweet basil
    ground pepper

    In a small saucepan heat butter and oil.
    Add garlic and simmer 5 minutes.
    Drain oil from anchovies into saucepan.
    Chop anchovies and add to saucepan with parsley and basil.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Season with pepper and serve hot with pasta.
    Makes 4 servings.

    NOTE:
    Do not add salt to this recipe. It has a strong, salty
    flavor and should be used in small quantities.
