    Barbecue Sauce, southern style

    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 Tablespoon dry mustard
    2 Tablespoons chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup vinegar
    2 cups tomato catsup
    3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    1 cup water

    Measure dry ingredients into a bowl.
    Add vinegar, catsup, worcestershire sauce and water.
    Stir until smooth.
    Pour mixture into small saucepan and cook on a Low
    heat for 30 to 40 minutes.
