1 1/3 c. instant nonfat dry milk powder
3/4 c. instant blend flour
3 tbsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. ground sage
1/8 tsp. ground thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. butter or I Can't Believe It's Not Butter LightRecipe
Combine the dry milk powder, flour, bouillon, thyme, sage and pepper together in a medium bowl.
Stir with a wire whisk to blend thoroughly.
Blend in the butter with a pastry blender until well mixed and particles are fine.
Store in the refrigerator in a sealed 3 cup container.
Label with date and contents and use within 4 - 6 weeks.
To make the gravy:
1 c. cold water
1/2 c. of the chicken gravy mix
Pour water into a small saucepan.
Stir chicken gravy mix into the water, using a wire whisk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until gravy is smooth and thickened, about 3 minutes.
Makes about 1 cup.
