    Recipe Introduction

    her comments:
(We live in the country and have a jersey milk cow so our milk
has lots of cream and makes a very rich gravy!)

    List of Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine, (1 stick)
2 tablespoons good hi fat dutch cocoa
...(makes it richer, or use the regular kind)
    4 teaspoons flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 cups milk
    1 teaspoons vanilla

Slightly melt the butter in your saucepan. Mix the cocoa,
flour and sugar together and stir in. Slowly add the milk
(2 % will never do!) and cook over medium heat while
stirring until the gravy begins to thicken. Remove from
the fire and add the vanilla.
    Notes:
This reheats well if you have leftovers.
If too thick just add a bit more milk.
