Herb Gravy #2
1 Tablespoon fat
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dried sage leaves
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon liquid browning seasoning
1 1/2 cups water
Return 1 tablespoon fat to pan.
Saute onion until onion is golden.
Remove from heat.
Stir in flour, to form a smooth mixture.
Stir in rest of dry ingredients.
Gradually add gravy seasoning and water.
Bring to boiling, stirring mixture will be thickened and smooth.
Reduce heat; simmer 2 minutes.
