    List of Ingredients

    What are Graham Crackers?

Graham crackers are whole wheat crackers sweetened with honey
    or molasses.
They may be used whole or crushed.
They were named after the inventor, Sylvester Graham, in 1829.

    Recipe

    14 graham crackers = 1 cup crumbs.

    Substitutes:

Vanilla wafer crumbs, add less sugar to mixture as they are sweeter.
    Or chopped nuts.

    1 cup graham cracker crumbs + 1 cup sugar = 1 1/2 cup chopped nuts + 1/8 cup sugar

    Or chocolate wafer crumbs
    Or zwieback crumbs
    Or gingersnap cookies
