Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 1/2 cup cold water
1 1/3 cup instant non fat dry milk powder
1/2 cup sugar substitute, (pourable kind)
Place the cold water in a glass 2 cup measure.
Stir or whisk in the dry milk until the mixture makes a smooth paste.
Cover and microwave on high for 45 - 60 seconds or until the mixture is very hot, but not to the boiling point.
Stir in the sugar substitute and mix well to dissolve.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before using.
Use in any recipe that calls for sweetened condensed milk.
Makes equivalent of one 12 ounce can.
