    craft - Washcloth Angel

    you will need:
washcloth, (buy by the pack and save$)
    string
    1/8 inch satin ribbon,
(can find on spools in most craft stores)

Cut the tag(s) off the washcloth. Lay it flat and fold it
like an accordion from one end to the other.
Pinch together in the middle to form a "V" at the bottom.
About 1 inch down from the fold, tie a piece of string to
form the head. Wrap the string around twice. Pull snug
    and tie in a knot.

Next on one side of the V, about 1 inch from the tie for
the head, pinch and tie string around to make an arm. Do
the same for the other side.

Under the arm, tie a 4th piece of string tightly to make
a waist. Fan out the rest of the washcloth to make the
    bottom.

Wrap a continuous piece of the satin ribbon around the
neck string, arm strings and waist string, criss crossing
across the chest section, tie off in the front.
Make a little card saying I am your guardian angel to
keep watch over you, or "childsname's" guardian angel.
Punch a hole in it and thread with the ribbon and tie
    with a bow.

If you wish, add a boy or girl item to the ribbon, like a
tiny satin rose or a butterfly for a girl, and a bug or a
baseball or fish for a boy. The craft stores sell all kinds
of these items in little bags that you could check out.
