Corn on the Cob, Silk Removal

    Source of Recipe

    assorted, see below
Corn on the Cob, Silk Removal/
Remove Silk from Corn on the Cob

    from real simple.com:
Use the bristles of an unused toothbrush to dig out stray silk
threads stuck between the kernels so they don’t get caught in
your teeth during dinner. See? Brushing really does keep your
    teeth clean!

    from Hormel.com:
Remove corn silk by gently rubbing a damp paper towel from
top to bottom of the corn cob, the silk will attach to the damp
towel. This method protects the kernels from being damaged.

    from howstuffworks.com:
Use a soft, dry brush to remove silk from the corn cob.

I had bought a silk brush to do this and it worked great,
only I cannot find it any more. It was small enough to fit
in the palm of my hand with short nylon bristles. I have
used the toothbrush methold too...forgot about that one.
Oooh...I found some links for corn silk brushes.
You will need to highlight, copy, paste these url's
    into your address window/browswer.

this one is a bit wider but almost the same as what I had:
