    Some recipes may call for deglazing. This is what it means.

    List of Ingredients




    Use some of the liquid in the recipe;
    pour it into the pan that meats have been browned in;
    cook and stir; scraping up all the browned bits.
    This dissolves all the carmelization from the browned meats.
    Then it's added back into the recipe so every bit of the essense from the meats flavors the food.
