    Softening Cabbage Leaves


    Cut the core from the head of cabbage and place it into the freezer.

    The leaves will be just as wilted as if you had boiled them.

    The freezing breaks down the fibers that make them stiff.


    Plus you can make other things like the stuffing part
    for stuffed cabbage rolls while you are waiting.
    Just remove from the freezer and thaw.

    Freeze when you first bring the cabbage home and then
    it will take less time to prepare. Just let it thaw
    out and then peel the leaves off.
