4 ideas for in order of least harm to flooring:

1) baking soda paste
2) rubbing alcohol
3) hairspray
4) bleach
5) nail polish remover WITH acetone

Use a Q-Tip with all of these,
Wash clean and apply a wax or polish when clean.
0000 Steel wool wrapped on a q-tip also can be used lightly.

I've also used Armstrong's New Beginnings Floor Cleaner on
hard stains on vinyl or linoleum. New Beginnings strips off the
finish, so you will want to get Armstrong's floor polish
to use after the stain is removed.
