personal care - HomeMade HairSpray, (2 types)

    #1 HairSpray

    2 lemons (yellow)
    2 limes (green)
    1 orange
    3 Tablespoons of sugar
    1 Tablespoon Elmers glue
    1 cup 70% rubbing alcohol
    3 cups water
    1/2 Tablespoon castor oil

Take as much juice out of all 3 fruits as you can
    and drain as much possible.
Mix rubbing alcohol and glue together well.
    Then bring to a boil.
Once boiling add water and sugar.
    Stir until very well mixed.
Bring to boil again as it stops boiling when the water
    and sugar are added.
Let cool to a lukewarm, then add the castor oil.

This mix will definitely keep your hair very shiny.
Hair is less likely to develop split ends and will keep
    the hair form becoming dry.
Hair will not become oily, so don't worry about the oil.
The alcohol in it helps to keep emollients from the fruits in.

If sprayed sparingly will dry in about 10 minutes
and will have good hold with out over harding,.
If saturated into hair can be used as a gel-spray
for styling hair and then can be dried into style.
    Enjoy.

    #2 HairSray

1 lemon or orange (use orange for dry hair)
    2 cups water
1 ounce rubbing alcohol, if preserving

Cut up the lemon or orange.
Use a blender/food processor to release all the oils
and juice from the flesh of the fruit.
Bring the juice and water to a boil in a stainless steel
    pan.
Boil off 1/2 the water. It is important to be sure to
do this or it will not hold the hair in place.
Strain into a 2 cup glass measurer, so there will not be
    anything to clog sprayer.
Then add alcohol if preserving the mixture.
Place in a spray bottle to use.
It should dry well, just not as fast as store bought.
