    This recipe may be used with broccoli or cauliflower, (whole or broken into florets), leeks, artichoke bottoms, or just about any vegetable that you want to dress up a bit. Just boil or steam until tender, and follow the rest of the directions.

    List of Ingredients




    2 lbs. asparagus, cooked until barely tender
    3 tbsp. butter
    1/4 - 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. heavy cream or half + half
    salt and ground black pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Heat th oven to 450. Butter a casserole dish.
    Place the asparagus in the casserole dish.
    Season with about half of the cheese.
    Then sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
    Add the cream and sprinkle with the other half of the cheese.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake for 10 - 15 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
    Makes 4 - 6 servings.
