    Recipe Introduction

    her comments:
This can go in a crockpot/slow cooker or baking dish. I have
made this both ways so know it works. It's so easy and great
any time of the year. This is one that you just have to try.
    Barbequed Green Beans

1 quart green beans cooked, or can use
...1 quart of canned green beans
4 to 6 slices of bacon, cut up into pieces
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/4 cup brown sugar
1 to 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
    1/2 cup catsup

In a skillet, fry the bacon and about half way through, add
the onion. The onion to be limp when done. Add the brown
sugar, Worcestershire Sauce, and last add the catsup. Stir
    until blended.
In crockpot or baking dish, add the green beans. Pour sauce
    over the green beans.
Very Important --- Do NOT Stir. Somehow, the sauce will
get to the beans. If everything is warm, bake at 350 degrees F.
for 20 to 35 minutes, or in the crockpot until all is hot, bubbly,
    and everything looks well heated.
