List of Ingredients




1, 8oz. jar pearl onions, drained and liquid reserved
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Recipe



Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat.
Whisk in the flour to make a paste.
Mix the reserved onion water and the milk together.
Add the milk mixture slowly to the saucepan, stirring constantly.
Continue to cook until thickened.
Add the onions, salt and pepper and stir to mix.
Makes 6 servings.
