    Onion Casserole, microwave

    cooking spray
    3 large thinly sliced onions
    1 cup + 1/2 cup butter, separated + cut into pats
    2 cups Italian breadcrumbs
    1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
    1 teaspoon paprika
    any mixture of grated cheese

    Coat a 3 quart baking dish with cooking spray. Mix
    breadcrumbs, lemon -pepper seasoning and paprika together.
    Layer onions, butter pats and breadcrumbs. Place the 1/2
    cup butter pats on top. Cook in mcrowave on medium for
    about 15 minutes. Remove and sprinkle top with the
    grated cheese. Place back in microwave and cook for another
    5 minutes.
