venison - French Fries Casserole

1 pound ground venison or beef
1 small diced onion
1 can cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
frozen french fries
pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix meat, onion and pepper to taste together.
Press into the bottom of a 9x9x2 inch pan.
Stir together the soups. Spread over the meat,
covering almost to the edges. Generously cove
entire surface with french fries. Bake for 40 minutes
or until done. The fries should be golden and crispy.
