    venison - Venison Lunch Meat

    List of Ingredients

    2 pounds ground deer meat
    1 cup water
    1 1/2 tablespoons meat tenderizer, without M S P
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    2 teaspoons liquid smoke
    1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper

    Recipe

    Mix all the ingredients together well.
    Chill in refrigerator for 24 hours.
    Shape into 2 loaves, like bread.
    Wrap loaves in foil, dull side out.
    Poke holes in bottom of foil so that juices can escape.
    Place in loaf pans and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees F.
    Chill and slice for lunch meat.
    Makes 2 small loaves.
