1, 3 pound venison roast
onion salt
garlic salt
celery salt
ginger ale soda pop, (original recipe states to
...use Only Canda Dry Ginger Ale Soda, probably
...because it is a really sweet soda?)
Rub all around the roast with a liveral amount of the salts.
Place into a roasting pan.
Cover the top section of the roast with strips of bacon.
Pour enough soda into the pan so it is 1 inch deep.
Cover and bake at 325 degrees F, until the meat falls apart,
basting occassionally, approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
This makes its own gravy.
