Magical Mocha Wands

List of Ingredients
- 250g butter, chopped
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 4 teaspoons instant espresso coffee powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups of plain flour
- 1 1/3 cups of chocolate, melted (dark chocolate is pref)
- 1 1/2 cups of chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190c.
- Beat butter in a medium bowl with an electric beater. Beat in the sugar, coffee powder and baking powder. Stir in the egg, vanilla and flour.
- Roll the dough out 2cm thick. Cut with a pastry roller into strips 6cm long. Place on ungreased oven trays and bake for 10-12 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack.
- Dip each biscuit into melted chocolate, and sprinkle with nuts.
