Spaghetti alla Carbonara

List of Ingredients
- 375g spaghetti
- 185g bacon (derinded and chopped)
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons cream
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 45g butter
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water, until al dente.
- Fry bacon in its own fat, until crisp. Drain well
- Beat eggs, cream, cheese, salt and pepper
- Melt butter in large saucepan. Add egg mixture, and stir until it begins to thicken.
- Add spaghetti and bacon. Cook a few minutes more.
- Serve with parmesan cheese.
Final Comments
You may wish to add a few cloves of garlic to the water while the spaghetti cooks, to give it more flavour. If you do, make sure you remove it before serving the spaghetti.
