    Recipe Introduction

These can be made with part whole wheat flour, if desired. They turn out just as good.

    List of Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup warm water
    • 1 cup scalded milk
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1/4 cup sugar or Splenda
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tsp salt (optional)
    • 3 1/2 cups flour OR 2 1/2 cups white and 1 cup whole wheat
    • 1 pkg yeast

    Instructions

    1. Heat together in microwave, 1/4 cup warm water, 1 cup milk and 1/4 cup butter. Heat till warm. Butter does not have to be melted.
    2. Dump all ingredients into a bread machine in the above order. Put the machine on DOUGH CYCLE.
    3. When the dough is done, place tyhe dough in a greased bowl, cover and let rise till doubled in size. About 1 1/2 hours.
    4. Punch down dough, roll and shape out dough into 3 balls equal sizes and place in greased muffin cups. Repeat the process till all dough is gone.
    5. Let rise again until doubled, or about another 45 minutes.
    6. Bake at 375 degrees, in a PREHEATED oven, for 13 to 15 minutes.
    7. Brush tops with butter when out of the oven.
