    EASY CHOCOLATE PUDDING

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1 egg
    • 2 cups milk
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate


    Instructions


    1. Blend sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium sized sauce pan. No heat yet.

    2. In a separate bowl, whisk one egg. Set aside.

    3. Turn flame on to medium heat and gradually add the milk, stirring well so it won't burn. Then cook and stir until thickened and clear. Keep stirring so it won't burn. The mixture will bubble slightly when thickened.

    4. Stir in chocolate till well blended/melted.

    5. With the pan still on the flame, add butter and vanilla, then mix well and quickly spoon into 4 (1 cup) dishes or 8 (1/2 cup dishes.

    6. Chill for a couple of hours or over night. You can, also, eat this warm. Let it sit for half an hour first to settle.
