    Recipe Introduction

This is perfect for the morning after a late night with a full house. Make it before bed, its gets better when it rests overnight. Once you drag yourself out of bed & take a minute to recover, all you've got to do is make a pot of coffee and throw this crowd-pleasing dish into the oven. Great way to start the day.

    List of Ingredients

    • 6-8 pcs of bread (any kind, the heels work perfectly for this)
    • 10-12 eggs
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • diced veggies(onion, bell pepper, tomato, asparagus, broccoli-whatever you have)
    • cooked, crumbled breakfast meat of your choice(we love bacon)
    • few handfuls shredded cheese
    • salt/pepper/mrs. dash/lemon pepper(you pick)

    Instructions

    1. DO THIS PART THE NIGHT BEFORE FOR BEST RESULTS-
And don't forget that any extra folks standing in your kitchen are fair game to be assigned prep work =)
    2. Spray a cake pan with non-stick spray. Crowd your bread into the bottom of the pan.
    3. Sprinkle your meats and veggies on top of the bread layer.
    4. Whisk together eggs, milk, and seasonings. Whisk it well.
    5. Pour egg mixture over bread and stuff.
    6. Top with shredded cheese.
    7. Cover with foil or lid and stick it in the fridge.
    8. THE NEXT DAY---
    9. Turn oven on to 375'. Make coffee(or tea if that's your thing). Uncover casserole and place it in oven. It's done when it smells good enough to wake everyone up. Or you can stick a knife in it. The eggs should be fully cooked. Usually takes 30-40 minutes.

    Final Comments

Serve with salsa. You can leave it in the oven on warm if your company isn't able to get up when it's ready.
