    1-1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 lb. butter
    1/4 c. crisco
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt

    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. b. powder
    1 tsp. b. soda
    1 tsp. b. powder

    Recipe



    Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add vanilla and salt. Batter will be sticky. Roll into balls, flatten with fork or use cookie gun.

    Bakes at 300° for 20 min. (depending on oven). Use ungreased cookie sheet.

    Yield: rolled-approx. 6 doz./cookie gun-approx. 10-12 doz.
