    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

This tastes just like the stuffing from your Thanksgiving bird. It is wonderful to make leftover turkey sandwiches.

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup milk
    1 Tbs. butter
    ¼ cup water
2 ¼ tsp. active dry yeast
    1 egg
    2 Tbs. brown sugar
    1 ½ tsp. salt
    1/3 cup cornmeal
    3 cups bread flour
4 ½ tsp. dried minced onion
    1 ½ tsp. celery seed
    ¾ tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 tsp. rubbed sage
    ½ tsp. pepper

    Recipe

Heat milk and butter to 105-115 degrees. Dissolve yeast in water. Add remainder of ingredients except flour into yeast mixture. Pour milk in yeast mixture. Mix until well blended. Add flour. Knead until elastic. Spray bowl with nonstick cooking spray. Put dough in bowl and spray top of dough with nonstick cooking spray. Cover and let rise until doubled (approx. 1 hour). Punch down. Shape and place in a bread pan. Let rise 1 hour. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from bread pan and cool on a wire rack.

    Yield: 1 loaf
