This is an excellent toffee. It is very easy to make.

    List of Ingredients

1 1/2 cups real milk chocolate chips
    1 1/2 cups semi-sweet real chocolate chips
    1/4 cup chopped almonds, toasted
    1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
    2 cups sugar
    2 cups butter
    1/2 cup water
    Pinch salt
    2 tsp. vanilla

Butter 13x9" pan; line with parchment paper or waxed paper. Butter paper. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips and half of the nuts over parchment paper; set aside. In Dutch oven combine sugar, butter, water and salt. Cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil (10 to 12 minutes). Boil, stirring often, until candy thermometer reaches 305 degrees Farenheit or small amount of mixture dropped into ice water forms hard brittle strands (20 to 25 minutes). Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Immediately sprinkle with remaining nuts; with knife swirl into toffee.
