Lolly's Chili

Recipe Introduction
This is a pretty mild chili but a favorite. Use ground turkey and it's fairly healthy!
List of Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey or ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 (no 2) cans of tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (OK if you are not from MN add more!)
- 3 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 Tbsp chili powder
- 2 can kidney beans (15 oz)
- 1 (10.75 oz) can tomato soup
Instructions
- Brown the ground meat, onion and chopped green pepper.
- Drain off the grease
- Add 1 can of tomatoes, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper, cloves, bay leaves and chili powder.
- Let cook 1/2 hour over a medium heat.
- Add the second can of tomatoes and the 2 cans of kidney beans.
- Let simmer
- Lastly, stir in the can of tomato soup.
- Allow to simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes.
