    Lolly's Chili

    Recipe Introduction


    This is a pretty mild chili but a favorite. Use ground turkey and it's fairly healthy!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb ground turkey or ground beef
    • 1 large onion
    • 1 chopped green pepper
    • 1 (no 2) cans of tomatoes
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (OK if you are not from MN add more!)
    • 3 cloves
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp chili powder
    • 2 can kidney beans (15 oz)
    • 1 (10.75 oz) can tomato soup


    Instructions


    1. Brown the ground meat, onion and chopped green pepper.
    2. Drain off the grease
    3. Add 1 can of tomatoes, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper, cloves, bay leaves and chili powder.
    4. Let cook 1/2 hour over a medium heat.
    5. Add the second can of tomatoes and the 2 cans of kidney beans.
    6. Let simmer
    7. Lastly, stir in the can of tomato soup.
    8. Allow to simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes.
